Our Story

Clarivize was created to solve a problem its founders saw repeatedly while building large-scale observability systems: As data volumes grew, telemetry costs rose so quickly that teams were forced to choose between visibility and budget, sacrificing insight by turning off telemetry just to control spend. Drawing on deep experience with telemetry pipelines, the founders recognized that much of this data was redundant or unused, yet customers paid to ingest and store all of it. Clarivize changes that equation by using machine learning to filter and preserve only the telemetry that matters, maintaining strong observability while significantly reducing cost.

Our Team

Clarivize is led by founders with deep experience building enterprise cloud and observability products, and we're looking to grow the team with business pros, builders, and advisors who want to help reshape how telemetry works at scale.

Sten Petrov
Co-Founder, CEO, CTO

Sten Petrov is a senior software engineer and observability expert with 15+ years of experience building large-scale cloud platforms and developer tools. At Microsoft, he helped design and scale core monitoring capabilities for Azure, contributing to Application Insights and other enterprise observability systems used at global scale.

Sten specializes in high-volume telemetry pipelines and identifying inefficiencies in real-world data. At Clarivize, he leads technology and product strategy, applying machine learning and anomaly detection to reduce telemetry noise while preserving the data teams rely on most.

Dave Adams
Co-Founder, COO, Head of UX

Dave Adams is a UX leader with 15+ years of experience designing enterprise software, with a focus on observability, AI-driven systems, and human-computer interaction. At Microsoft, he led user experience initiatives for Azure monitoring tools, significantly improving engagement, usability, and troubleshooting speed for enterprise customers.

At Clarivize, Dave drives product design and operations, ensuring complex telemetry workflows are intuitive, actionable, and aligned with real customer needs.
